I believe I was lucky to kick-off my career with a Fender electric (Rock n Roll) guitar. Even had a chance at a #1 hit with A&M Records, until my "Fugitive" was covered by the Ventures, who were very hot at that time.
I got lucky again and had a Top 10 hit on Billboard, with a single, "Hot Sauce." However, the label dropped the ball when they neglected to promote the album.
Then sometime later, I went to a Sabicas concert, and was blown away with his acoustic guitar! This master inspired my choice to write and perform all-acoustic concerts. (More on my bio at CDBaby.com)
I wrote all nine selections on "Concert By The Sea" and am playing dual acoustic guitars on each composition, as I honor four women I love, as seen in the titles, Jessie's Theme, Christina Marie, Laura By The Sea and Donna De Oro.
The other five instrumentals were written from my heart, for those guitar buffs who enjoy both Flamenco and Classical guitar.
